Check spam and promotions folders for “Your sign-in link”. The link works for one hour and once only; ask for a new one from the sign-in screen. The six-digit code in the same email also works — type it on the screen that says “Check your inbox”.

Open the email on the device you want to use, or type the six-digit code from the email into the app on that device.

Yes. Keep an episode on your phone (the “Keep offline” button in the player) and it plays without a connection. Cards and drills work offline too. Turn on download-ahead in Settings and the next few days come down on Wi-Fi by themselves.

No. The course never uses the microphone: you say the yellow lines out loud, for yourself. The only time the app asks for the microphone and camera is a live class with a tutor, and classes are not recorded.

If you subscribed in the iPhone app: Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your phone. In the Android app: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. On the web: Settings → Subscription in the app. Your access runs to the end of the paid period.

Codes belong to your Learn Malay account and can't be entered in the phone apps, where the price is always the store's own. Questions about a code: hello@learn-malay.com.

Move a class twice a month for free with a day’s notice, into any of your tutor’s open slots. With more than 24 hours’ notice a cancelled class comes back to you as a credit for 60 days. Under 24 hours the class is lost and the tutor is still paid.

In the app: Settings → Privacy → Delete my account. It is immediate and you get one email confirming it. Download my data next to it gives you everything first, if you want it. Or email hello@learn-malay.com from the address you signed in with.
